Last Stump Standing is owned and run by Gunnar Syversen and Daniel Harrington. When you book a stump grinding job, Gunnar and Daniel are the ones who answer your message, give you the quote, call in the Colorado 811 locate and run the grinder in your yard. There's no hand-off to a crew you've never met.
We're based in Littleton and focus on the south metro and greater Denver area: Littleton, Highlands Ranch, Centennial, Englewood, Lakewood, Parker and nearby communities.
We keep it simple and do three things well: stump grinding 6 to 12 inches below grade, debris removal (we haul away the grindings or leave you the mulch), and soil & seed (we fill the hole with topsoil, level it and seed it so grass grows back).

What to expect on the day of your job
Before the job, we request a Colorado 811 locate so underground utility lines near the stump are marked.
On the day, the owners arrive with the grinder, confirm which stumps you want ground and how deep, and check for sprinkler heads or other private lines near the stump.
We grind each stump below grade, then clean up the way you chose: leave the mulch, haul the grindings away, or fill the hole with topsoil and seed it.
You don't need to be home, as long as we can get to the stumps and know which ones to grind.
